Escape Attempt Is My Favorite

Hey strangers, I found a happy mellow, no lyric ear’gasm: Solar Collector:

I Never Left

Gone Forever —

I’ve been gone and yet never left.

William S. Burroughs “A Thanksgiving Prayer”

Thanksgiving is a torn holiday. I don’t celebrate it’s history, but I do enjoy stuffing, raw cranberry sauce, and mashed potatoes.

I am not thankful that our civilization has come so far that there is no way for an average citizen to become 100% self-sufficient. Owning land is going to become one of the most valuable commodities in the near future.

Anyone living in a city apartment, no access to tillable land, will be wishing they could get out and grow food, somewhere, anywhere really. Within the next 10-20 years, Earth changes will only increase in severity, due to slight increases in the planets climate.

Denying climate change is now a part of the past, no longer can we debate the science, because it will happen. However, the most important fact remains, people need food, and our farmers (from around the world) are stretched thin, especially to keep up with the demand of seven billion people (AND counting!) … although, not all 7,000,000,000 are fed, but that won’t stop our race from continuing to procreate and consume at the expense of those deduced to slavery, and yes, there are still slaves in our world, and technically still in the United States. Don’t believe me? Check out the Coalition of Immokalee Workers.

Immokalee, Florida is the largest grower of US tomatoes, however, they are also known for holding migrant workers inside camps (sometimes chained inside cargo trailers). There have been instances when slaves have tried to escape, and “farm managers” have chased them down, sometimes shooting them dead.

This is where non-organic US Grown Florida tomatoes come from. On top of this, Immokalee, FL is #1 biggest user of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, using over a billion pounds a year.

Anyway, now that I’ve ranted.. all I really want to say is: the day I am thankful will be the day our planet and civilization can stop buying into the consumerism, and start being a community and less of a bunch of ants, working for the man, trying to get enough money to eat, because we’ve had it backwards this whole time.

Life is not about having, it’s about sharing what we have without giving it all away.

Russell Brand et al. and a bunch of questions

First broadcast
BBC One, 10:35PM Thu, 20 Jun 2013

David Dimbleby presents Question Time from London. On the panel are Ed Davey MP, secretary of state for energy and climate change; Dame Tessa Jowell MP, Labour’s former minister for the Olympics; Boris Johnson, the Conservative mayor of London; comedian Russell Brand; and Daily Mail columnist Melanie Phillips.

Apologies for the quality (and 2 buffering breaks) which is due to it being a capture from an Internet broadcast.

Immortal Technique- The Point of No Return

Yeah… It’s that real this time around
Immortal Technique… Revolutionary Vol. 2
It’s on now motherfucker
Lock and load

[Verse 1]
This is the point of no return, I could never go back
Life without parole, up state shackled and trapped
Living in the hole, lookin’ at the world through a crack
But fuck that, I’d rather shoot it out and get clapped
I’ve gone too far, there ain’t no coming back for me
Auschwitz gas chamber full of Zyklon-B
Just like the Spanish exterminating Tainos
Raping the black and Indian women, creating Latinos
Mother fuckers made me out of self righteous hatred
And you got yourself a virus, stuck in the Matrix
A suicide bomber strapped and ready to blow
Lethal injection strapped down ready to go
Don’t you understand they’ll never let me live out in peace
Concrete jungle, guerrilla war out in the streets
Nat Turner with the sickle pitch fork and machete
The end of the world, mother fucker you not ready
This is the point of no return and nobody can stop it
Malcolm Little when he knelt before Elijah Muhammad
The comet killed the dinosaurs, changing the earth
They love to criticize, they always say I change for the worse
Like prescription pills, when you misusin’ them nigga
The Templar Knights when they took Jerusalem nigga
And figured out what was buried under Solomon’s temple
Al-Aqsa the name is not coincidental
I know too much, the government is trying to murder me
No coming back like cutting your wrists open vertically
How could the serpent be purposely put in charge of the country
Genetic engineered sickness spread amongst me
My people are so hungry that they attack without reason
Like a fuckin’ dog ripping off the hand that feeds him
Immortal Technique is treason to the Patriot Act
So come and get me mother fucker cause I’m not coming back

This is the point from which I could never return
And if I back down now then forever I burn
This is the point from which I could never retreat
Cause If I turn back now there can never be peace
This is the point from which I will die and succeed
Living the struggle, I know I’m alive when I bleed
From now on it can never be the same as before
Cause the place I’m from doesn’t exist anymore

[Verse 2]
This is the point of no return nigga you better believe this
Mary Magdalene giving birth to the children of Jesus
The evolution of the world, bloody and dramatic
Human beings killing monkeys to conquer the planet
The kingdoms of Africa and Mesopotamia
Machine gunnin’ your body with depleted uranium
This is the age of microchips and titanium
The dark side of the moon and contact with aliens
I started out like Australians, criminal minded
Broke into Hell, tore it down, and built a city behind it
Southpaw, murderous methodology nigga
Remember that I’m just a man, don’t follow me nigga
Cause once you past the point you can never go home
You’ve got to face the possibility of dying alone
So tell me mother fucker, how could you die for the throne
When you don’t even got the fuckin’ heart to die for your own
It rains acid, one day the earth will cry from a stone
And you’ll be lookin’ at the world livin’ inside of a dome
Computerized humanity living inside of a clone
This is the place where the unknown is living and real
Wormwood to Planet X and the Seventh Seal
Universal truth is not measured in mass appeal
This is the last time that I kneel and pray to the sky
Cause almost everything that I was always ever told was a lie

Russell Brand is still just a comedian

Funny, smart, articulate. I’d rather shake his hand over the Presidents, any day.

hmm… uploaded in 2013, but this show was from maybe… ’06-07? Correct me if I’m wrong. Obama reference gives it away…. nobody likes Obama anymore. democrat and republican. Never again will i vote for either party. 2012, I voted for the Green Party…and it was scary to do, but the feeling of burden left my shoulders, and finally felt good about how I will vote.┬áNo turning back now. Third party is the only way out of the two party circle jerk, b/c that is the definition of insanity.

Shapeshifter – Gallop

Gallop is a band from Portland, OR.
Beautiful words and sounds. I first heard this song played on Democracy Now during a special following the suicide of internet activist, Aaron Swartz.

Swartz’s birthday would have been coming up in 10 days. Young, 27 year-old, dead because our system is so broken, that the only true thing is succeeds well at is persecution and enslavement.

He fought to keep our internet free from their draconian laws. I hope that this generation remembers the story of Aaron Swartz.
